StepKey Music is the culmination of talent and efforts of Stephen F. Key. Mr. Key the founder’s acclaimed compositions have received performances in major concert halls throughout the country. He has appeared in local productions of the Broadway musicals "Ain't Misbehavin" and "Dreamgirls". Mr. Key has performed with and arranged for many nationally renowned artists including Edwin Hawkins, Walter Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Daryl Coley, Oleta Adams, Vickie Winans, Jennifer Holiday, and Donnie McClurkin.

Steve Key (Stephen F. Key) is known throughout the United States and abroad for his composition, direction, and keyboard musicianship. As a solo artist, he has performed with and arranged for many nationally renowned performers including Edwin & the late Bishop Walter Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Daryl Coley, and Vickie Winans.

Presently, Mr. Key serves as part of the musical staffs of the Third Street Church of God and Asbury United Methodist Church, both in Washington, DC. He is founder and president of his own music publishing company, StepKey Music.
